Description

This chapter presents the case for a multifaceted approach to motivation. It presents a model where internal learner factors and external factors influencing a learner’s motivation are identified. This led to the construction of the Language Learning Motivation Questionnaire, which can be used with individuals or groups as a diagnostic tool, or as a research instrument to investigate motivation on a larger scale.
