Description
Dating is essential to the study of the past. Without knowing when things happened, archaeologists cannot properly interpret human-kind’s development from the past to the present. Fortunately, a number of archaeological and scientific methods have been developed to facilitate dating archaeological finds. These methods can be divided into two general categories: relative dating and absolute dating.
