Karen Elizabeth Zoppa earned her PhD from the Department of Religion at the University of Manitoba. Her research focuses on Critical Theory of Religion in relation to contemporary philosophy and literature. She teaches Humanities at the University of Winnipeg.
Description
A review of Beauvoir's apprehension of the problem of the other in her own texts - intellectually, personally and viscerally - and her ethical response. This is accompanied by an analysis of Beauvoir's deployment of faith as a performance of the scene of religion.
