Description
Modern Paganism drew from a wide variety of sources, including Classical texts and Renaissance art and literature, as well as folk magic traditions. European mythologies, the occult and neo-druid orders became prominent in the Romantic era. Scholarship on folk customs also contributed to the birth of Paganism as a modern movement.
